ALASKAN GRIZZLY BEAR
A 40-minute plane ride from Nome, your hunt will start at a Nomad Adventure's remote base camp. The majority of bear hunting takes place from various spike camps throughout the Seward Peninsula.

September makes up Alaska’s rainy season. Hunters should be prepared for rain. Hunters should also be prepared for thick gnats and mosquitoes and should bring bug nets to cover their faces. The area is a true refuge. We try as hard as possible not to leave a footprint. You and your guide will spend days glassing the tundra looking for a bear.
The hunter is responsible for purchasing their hunting license and bear tag, as well as lodging and meals while in Nome, AK.

Our bear hunts are also offered as an add on to a caribou or moose hunt.
Fall bears are a spot & stalk hunt. All of nomad adventures fall grizzly hunts are conducted with one guide and one client. We take a limited number of bear hunts so the dates range from September 1st - September 20th.
